Blogging is really popular in the internet today. It is quite amazing to know the enormous growth of bloggers have since it was developed more than a decade ago. Those days, I didn’t cared so much about blogging. For me, social networking is enough to meet people and make friends online. I was not aware that it would be a powerful tool in generating passive income. But even if millions of people are now blogging for profit, this is good news as far as internet marketing is concerned.Every online entrepreneur who owns a website is sure to have a blog on the side – and why is that? One big reason is that the search engines love blogs. They are often visited by search engines because they have a lot of new content every day. And blog sites often get high page ranking because of the fresh content and information coming from actively bloggers. This means blogs make perfect traffic generator for the attached websites - pretty clever huh?
Have you noticed the number of blogs on Google search results page? You’ will see them everywhere on the web. I checked the number of people who have blogs and I discovered it has already grown to 200 million! And guess which industry is a one of the big contributors of the blogging trend? If you say internet marketers, then you are certainly right. Can you imagine a blog is created every half a second? Blogging for profit definitely is one of the frequently used techniques in online marketing and this will surely go on for years more.

Most website owners would also include advices, motivation and tutorials which is of course a part of their marketing campaigns.The regular components of blogs are the title, the body and the comment area. However, the real power of blogs comes from the following:
1. Their general content composition including the choice of keywords.
2. The links coming in and going out.3. The content and links coming from comments.
4. The information details you get from the visitors.
Blogging for profit is neat. However, here are some important things you can get from simply blogging:
1. People would visit more often when you provide good information.
2. Regular visitors become your friends.
